I should be working, but my LJ addiction is interfering. If I get fired for being on the internet all the time, I'm sueing.

Heh. No, I can handle it, I always get my work done, I just let the boring stuff (like filing and shredding) pile up. I'm saving my notes-rewriting for a time when Bosslady decides we need to make goals for the week.

I had a lovely weekend in the mountains, by the way. Temps in the 70s, overcast and rainy at least once each day, and technology-free enough to get into my artwork (and reading Labyrinth of Evil - so far it's as good as I'd hoped). Maybe I'll post the Anakin drawing I did.

My brother is quite the comedian too, I must say. I don't think I laugh as easily as most people but he can always make me laugh - he was doing his own version of the "one-man show", reading my Revenge of the Sith comic book with funny impersonations. Inside jokes galore. Only he changed a major plot point to suit his own fancy. (yes Stad of course that was still funny) His Anakin was waaaaay too whiny and immature. I laughed so much my stomach hurt. Awesome!

And my right arm is a little sore from playing baseball for a couple hours on Sunday too. That was fun, but I'm such an "indoor kid" he had to practically drag me out there. I suck.

Closing my browser now... really... NOT just minimizing.... I have to get online tonight anyway to do my Avon order (this work computer is turning evil, won't let me do it from here) so there's no reason to be gallavanting around livejournal all day when I have to get on at home later anyway.... repeat after me...

Hmmm... your brother could be on to something...

Makes sense that he would portray Anakin as whiny and immature (although I admit with head ducking that I STILL haven't seen Episode 3). My brother and I always said that the young Luke Skywalker in the 1st (4th?) film, was the biggest whining brat we'd ever seen in our lives. "But Uncle Owen...!" "Now I'll never get outta here" (pout, pout)

Seems it's genetic, eh?

Ha! Yes, we've talked about that too. When we watch the original trilogy now, every time Luke whines, my bro says "WAAAA WAAAAA!" all nasty-like.

GO SEE EPISODE III!!! It's almost outta theatres! I may have a hard time finding it this weekend :( but I think there should still be one around that has at least a couple showings of it per day....

Oho! The filing yours shall be (wait a minute, I'm not Master Yoda) It's much more fun to play on the internet instead!

Miss me? I'm right here my young padawan. Wanna practice your dueling? *whips out lightsaber and slashes through piles of filing* Woohoo!!!!

Well then, I guess I'll use my best Ewan voice to say "HELLO THERE!" If only I had my own personal Boga beast to ride wherever the hell I want.

I got another Shins CD (Chutes Too Narrow) last week but haven't gotten into it nearly as much as the "Oh Inverted World" one.

And I'm currently in love with like, the mad, passionate, forbidden kindsa love with the new Deathcab for Cutie song "Soul Meets Body" if I remember the title correctly. They don't play it enough on the radio, but once in awhile they grant my telepathic wish. (No chance at work to call and request it or I'd be doing that for sure) It sucks that I have to wait til 8/30 to get it, but I guess I'll survive.

(I'm sure my sister is like "Deathcab for whom? What? Is that a cabride on the planet Geonosis in the SW universe or something?")

DEATHCAB FOR CUTIE???? What kind of fucked up name is that? Weird. I would love love LOVE if the deathcab would take me to Geonosis though, you say they offer rides? hehehehehe - a girl can dream...

Naboo. That's where I REALLY want to go.

Stad, I was talking with someone on [Bad username or site: star wars @ livejournal.com] and she wants to see Episode 2.5 which would be all about Anakin and Padme doing goofy lovey-dovey newlywed stuff. Yeah!!!!!!! Wouldn't that be sweet? I think they should show Luke & Leia being conceived too. That would be HOT.

I have informed my Padawan of this comment so she should be along shortly, she's not always obedient, a wee bit headstrong, but a good learner...

AHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! OMG -dies- You have asolutely no idea how funny you just were.

I definatley want to see Episode 2.5. That would be the best Star Wars ever. Dunno why I love the whole Anakin/Padme thing, usually I'd get that huge jealous-like feeling, but I don't with AniPadme. 10 points to seeing hot sexy concievement!!!

The jealousy feeling is kinda fun though - you can just imagine that YOU are Padme (like the one awesome dream I had, which I should have posted about but now the details have left me) and all is well.

Anakin gets hotter and hotter every time I see the movie! *runs off to take cold shower just remembering* -Oh and now I've seen Life as a House so I can go read your review. I know that's an older entry so if your email-comment-notify thingie isn't working you probably won't see anything I write so I may just read it quietly....

Hi!

I know this is slightly shocking, but hopefully you can stay in your chair. I don't have any Shins CD. At all. I have absolutely no money to buy it! It is my birthday soon though, and Oh Inverted World is first on my birthday list.

I've never heard Deathcab for Cutie's work, but I've heard of them. Isn't the lead singer of The Postal Service also lead for Deathcab? I'm not sure if I've heard the song on the radio or not, since I'm not sure what Deathcab sounds like. I'm guessing close to The Postal Service, though, if in fact I'm right in knowing the Postal Service singer and Deathcab singer are the same guy.

You were right ...

... tell my sister, you were right ... about Deathcab and the Postal Service. When I first heard Deathcab on the radio, I thought, "Oh wow, that's gotta be another cool Postal Service song." I only know their Garden State song (which isn't actually in GS, but you know what I mean), so I'm glad we have a few DJ's here who give plenty of info. I heard the Postal Service is just a side project from Ben whatever his name is (don't recall), and Deathcab is his real band. So along with getting the new Deathcab on 8/30, I'll have to check out their previous album and the Postal Service one eventually.

I see your LJ addiction at work is nothing new, even if you have been good at not getting online at work as much.

Still shirking on the filing too....
