"This is a happy moment"
Aug. 20th, 2005 07:27 pmAfter 20 days of NO ROTS - I saw it again this afternoon. Ninth time. Still cried a lot, even with a theatre full of younglings. They weren't annoying - in fact I liked hearing them laugh at the droid parts. It's nice to know that young'uns can enjoy Star Wars. Maybe they can all grow up to be as obsessive as I am about it. I'm also happy that the auditorium was so crowded - I'd guess there was over a hundred people in there. Keep going, folks! I want to see it on the big screen as long as possible! Oh the joy when the theme started playing and those wonderful yellow words started floating up the screen... I sat there believing I had died and gone to heaven (for the next 2 hours at least).
I think I'm going to play another little game with myself here, and make an attempt to entitle all my journal entries with lines from any of the 6 films - though I bet more will come from the prequels since those are the ones I'm watching the most. Just to annoy my non-SW-obsessed friends & family (eh - they probably stopped reading this a long time ago, actually!) I may need to tweak the lines a little to fit, or perhaps if nothing really fits I'll throw something random in there. Oh how I amuse myself.
I got Life as a House today so I plan to watch that after a nice long bubble bath. I wonder how long it will take me to forget that Hayden isn't really Anakin in this movie....

Date: 2005-08-23 02:05 am (UTC)I totally agree... he looked so much better without the gosh make-up. And he was very much like Anakin, wasn't he? :D And that girl... wuah... is with him in the shower and says, "I thought we were just going to be friends." Is she crazy?? ....... or just blind??? I'd certainly know better things to say if Hayden were to kiss me naked in a shower!!
...
I think I need a shower now too. A cold one! :D

How long did it take?? I didn't see Life as a House for the first time, either, until after RoTS. Hayden ever heard of Hayden before that. Life got much better post-RoTS! LOL

Date: 2008-08-20 03:28 am (UTC)I have no idea how long it took me in LAAH -- I obviously loved him in that, but I may have been thinking of him as Anakin the entire time. Hee. (in fact I might be guilty of doing this in ALL Hayden movies, even still!)
