Okay, I don't need to be bitched out because your on-call pay is not on your check. You turned it in late, but even then had I received it one day earlier I would have gladly keyed it. There are several days allotted for lateness when the schedule permits. I would have keyed it even though it was late if you had called and very politely apologized for it being late and begged me to have mercy on your poor hapless soul. But I get late stuff every pay period, and I set it aside for next time. Not my fault you can't stick to the deadline.

Go bitch about it to your supervisor so she can bitch about it to MY supervisor who will hopefully stick up for me. If your bitching leads to you getting paid, I don't mind doing a manual check, but if the reason on your form says "Payroll didn't process" I will point out exactly how late it was. You're not blaming this on me.

I know I'm an ogre about this but GET A FUCKING SAVINGS ACCOUNT. Didn't your mama teach you that you're supposed to have an amount equal to 2 months' rent, just in case? You need to save a little, hun.

I think I'm PMSing. Sorry.

Hey that's pretty cool - I've heard that when females live together, their cycles can start getting in synch with each other. But to be in synch with complete strangers.... that's pretty cool!

And it is most definitely PMS - I've had other symptoms. Am in a better mood now though :)

Not everyone knows how to live within their means leading to not having a savings account And some, depending on the job, manage to just barely get by, no matter how much they would like to be able to save. Do you happen to know what the circumstances were for this particular person???

I know the aides that work for my grandmother are all very hard working and not all of them are able to save any money. In fact, I would say most cannot. They still have to maintain their own residence, for example, even though they live with my grandmother for a period of about 10 - 14 days. Then they get a week off.

And, a home health aide isn't exactly the highest paying job out there either!

Oh yes, I know. It just bothers me. I suppose I've had things too easy. *knock on wood* And I was just pissed off that this person was taking it out on me because I didn't want to re-do some stuff to accommodate HER lateness. Esp. not when she was being rude about it!

And this was office staff, not a caregiver. They're paid a little better. I don't remember who it was, they must not work there anymore or I would remember! (very high turnover rate... with low pay, it's to be expected!)

I like it there! I'm comfortable and the people are nice and fun and easy to work with, and my boss is awesome, and I get paid more than I've ever made elsewhere. (of course, I HAVE been there forever now. Maybe I could make more somewhere else, but until I have severe money issues that's not an issue!)

And I haaaaaaaaaaate job hunting with a fiery burning passion. Having to sell myself??? UGH!
