Does anyone know this "Secretly" song? (besides you, Amber - duh) It's not new but I never heard it before. It's very sad and haunting and kind of... hmmm. Bjork-ish sounding.

I feel kind of asshattish today. Poor A. is going through all this crap with his mom, she's just so terribly sick now, and he's not able to work at all or sleep more than 3 hours a night... everything sucks for him. And I sit here all absorbed in my piddly little life. He says there's nothing I can do but there must be... something? I offered him money but of course he refused. I could drive up there and hang out with him but I'm too lazy and selfish to do that. God I'm such a bitch. I wouldn't know what to do once I got there, and I have too much to do down here this time of year as it is. But if he asks me to, I will go. Shouldn't I just go without having to be asked, though? So selfish I am.

I don't think just turning up is a good idea - if you've offered and he refused, it's better to wait to be asked. At least in my opinion.

Obi and Ani have switched bodies but I'm thinking Ani (in Obi's body) should not go and have sex with Palpy...mostly because I imagine that Palpy will kill Obi on sight. And that would be unfortunate. Anyway, I have good music yay!

I don't think of that as a country song, though. It's twangy enough, I guess... yeah, okay, it sounds country! I do like some country, I just don't listen to it much. I have a country station preset in my car.

This Terri Gibbs song was on one of my 80s CDs, I had barely heard it before that (I recognized it but didn't hear it on the radio currently or anything)... now I hear it all the time on one of my iPod playlists!
