I am a geek for feeling the need to rush on here and post. But, well, you all know I'm a geek.

I just watched RotS for the first time in over a month. Since I joined my crack RPG. Some of you may remember the thing I had not so long ago about not liking slash because I was afraid it would ruin my enjoyment of the "purity" of the real deal (or canon) - I needn't have worried. I did giggle a bit in the beginning, I admit. But not once I got all into it. Yes, I am capable of separating the two. Woohoo!

I didn't start crying until Order 66. And then I didn't stop. Sometimes I start crying really early on (that's the best; I love to cry during movies!) and sometimes I don't cry until the Ani/Obi scene at the end. Anyway, this time I was home alone so I cried all loud and everything, it was great. The last couple minutes tend to really, REALLY make me cry my ass off. I continued crying all through the credits. Freaked out a couple nearby cats (Anakin and Gryffin). The damn phone rang a few times too, but I ignored it. I do not answer the phone during Star Wars, people.

[/geeky babbling]

I did that about a week ago.
It was hardcore, I was crying alot.
+It usually starts during 'Padme's ruminations. When they look across the town thinking of eachother.
+Then when he become darth vader, then I cry throughout order 66.
+The padawan scene gets more tears going. And a few scenes after that does the same...
+But I really break down at that one point. Right when Padme arrives on Mustafar, a quiet, short little scene. She just sits there reflecting, and then then across the stars starts playing. Right at this part:

Anyway, I'm hysterically crying through the whole thing after that.
"Anakin, you're breaking my heart!"

yes, good spots to cry, all... there are times when the "Ani I'm pregnant" scene makes me cry too. It's sooooooo sad that they're all happy and it's basically the last time they get to be happy.

I usually cry there too - didn't today. I came close. So then I at least knew I WOULD cry later.

If I ever watch the whole thing without crying at all, like not even teary-eyed, I may have to shoot myself.

where did that photo even come from? there's only two situations in which a guy would make that face, one is if he is just about to blow out birthday candles and wishing really hard for a pony, the other is.. *wink hehehe*
he is the hottest guy that ever was in ANY galaxy!!

Agreed!!!
The screen cap is from when he and your least-favorite Jedi are brought to Grievous, in the beginning. The icon itself came from... episode3icons, I think?

Horrors! I can't NOT cry, if I'm watching with no distractions. (well, in RotS and RotJ, at least. I don't always cry in the other ones, though I have at different times)

I need to do another marathon!

OH!! Are you off on 10/10 or 10/13??? I'm off that friday, the 10th (took a vaction day) and the 13th for the holiday. I'm thinking of doing a marathon one of those days. You should do one too and we can time things to be watching at the same time (although I don't do Clone Wars!!!)

HA!!!! We've never gotten Columbus day off. We used to have 10 holidays (now we only have 7) but that day was never one of them. Boo hiss! I'll think of you doing your marathon, though.

And I'm thinking I'm going to quit watching TCW as part of my marathons... it will be too impossible to include all the NEW Clone Wars stuff coming out. Back to basics! Just the 6 movies!
