"I don't want things to change"

(forgive me, I'm in love with this Cedric icon and must keep using it even though I have 99 other pics to choose from)

I used to be so big on New Year's resolutions. Last year, though, I purposely didn't make any cuz I know I never keep 'em anyway and opted to just challenge myself throughout the year instead, to change things as required. Why can't I just do both? So I have some things I'll be working on.

#1 New Year's resolution: Quit slacking at work. (don't laugh!)

I'm going to go back and tag my recent I'm-not-gonna-slack-anymore post so I can make myself re-read it and hopefully not be tempted.

"But you're slacking right now," you say. -True, I've been on the internet all morning (it's my lunch break now though, really!) But lookie, it's still December! I'm going to get all slackeriness out of my system this week. So help me God.

Now, if I ever get completely caught up on absolutely every last thing in my office - INCLUDING updating notes on how to do my job in case I get struck by lightning or something - I may occasionally slack. That's the plan, anyway.

Anyone have any resolutions to share? If you want me to yell at you to help you keep 'em, I'm good at that :)

Oy vey, New Years resolutions. Where to start. Well, first and foremost, I need a job. Then I'd like to apply to University so I can go the following year. I'd like to get fit. Need to train my puppy. Gonna move house eventually. Gotta get everything prepared to move house...i.e., fix everything up. Gotta find a new house before I do any of that. Gonna write more. Here I am, slacking cuz I have 15 minutes left of work. I was good, I stayed off here for almost 2 whole hours :)

You have quite the ambitious list there. Just... if you get a job, make sure it doesn't interfere with your RP life, 'k? Remember your priorities :) Maybe you can work at home - like knit scarves to sell on eBay or something. Yeah!!!

I don't see the point either when I always always always break them... but I also believe in "never stop starting" cuz maybe at some point you will succeed!

Lucius is fine and all but doesn't compare to Cedric. Or even Harry. But you know how I go for those younger men :)

I know!! It's very disconcerting to be reading a comment about some "hot icon" and then all I see is that icky Palpatine thing that is your current default.
