Wanna know why I'm a dork?

Just one reason. Yes, the list is endless, but here's why I'm dorky at the moment. For the past few days at work, I've been in more of a radio mood vs. an iPod mood. So I'll be listening to a song and - more than a couple times - I catch myself thinking, "Hmmmm, is this a notfromajedi song or a flowerytease song (or both)?" (Unfortunately for max_mondragon he doesn't really have a musical taste yet, mostly cuz I don't know what music he'd hear in England, besides the band that played at the ball - Hatchy something? But also cuz he's so young AND I only seem to play him when no one from omgls is around, I'm so mean to him)

In other news...
1) It's hot. Day 113 without rain, I think, and the summer fire season has already started, daaaaang that's unheard of. The "February fire" is nowhere near our little mobile home in the mountains but I didn't think I'd have to worry about that for another couple months, at least. It was 85 degrees here yesterday, and I swear it was like 100 in this building. -Need to water plants more. Got scolded by Dad cuz they all look horrible. A green thumb, I don't have.

2) Big Boss is buying us all my favorite pizza tomorrow! W00t! (Rosati's: it's MUY MUY YUMMY!)

Yes! Dorks Unite! And hey you caught me slacking at work. <.< I've been good, really, I didn't go on in the morning and did Palpy's entry at lunch... but I can't get over my mid-afternoon Urge to Slack. That's the toughest one. Especially when I'm sitting here sweating. BLEAHHHHH. "I can't work in these conditions!" Hehehehe

Dang, I deleted my Nerd!Hayden icon. Oh well.

Yeah, I saw your Palpy post. Ani's all stressed out because his Master is having a childhood regression and unfortunately, he might take some of that out on Palpy.

Palpy can handle it. Probably. He'll take advantage of Obi's predicament to try and get closer to Ani, anyway. Heh. I have to go to Petsmart after work - cuz I'm completely out of canned food and I just CAN'T not feed them their can for breakfast, OMG I would die if I disappointed them - and I may have one delivery if the lady calls me back, but that wouldn't take long. I'm all excited I get to be on the computer all night and PLAY!!!!

My cat meows and whines if I don't give her the packet jelly kind of food. I tried giving her dry food today and she sat at the top of the stairs and meowed and meowed and drove the dog nuts. She's a spoiled little brat.

Anyway, I'm sure Palpy will be able to take it as it'll just be one of those good "Ani whines about stuff to the wrong person." moments.

Yeah, my kitties get those packets too. They're supposed to taste better than the cans, but Anakin won't eat them, he only likes Friskies in the can. Picky cat. And poor Pantera doesn't get to eat much unless I'm there supervising (like on weekends) to make sure Anakin and/or Gryffin don't go scare her off to eat her food.

And Palpy loves it when he "whines to the wrong person" cuz obviously in his mind he's always the right person.

Replied, and now I'm OFF 'til later. I swear. Really. Turning off the internet right now....

We used to do company lunches once in a while. Frankly, we're all better off if he doesn't. He always ended up making us all miserable forcing us to spend that time with him!

Hehe, my old boss shared those sentiments. I said something like it was nice how he got free lunch that day (for a meeting) and he said he much prefers it when everyone's cut loose and told to be back in an hour, cuz when the company pays and you're all sitting in there eating together you keep talking shop! (We peons just get to take the food and run, if we get any)
