"Are you threatening me, Master Jedi?"
Feb. 20th, 2006 07:49 amWell, once again, I'm at work and don't feel like working, even though I now have piles of it and a deadline looming. I swear, it's almost like my subconscious wants me to get behind and scramble to get done on time, as a way of adding excitement to my life or something.
I had a good weekend. My guests were gone most of the day Saturday and Sunday, so I had plenty of alone time/computer time, but when they were around we had fun. Guests included my friend, her 17-year-old son, and her 16-year-old nephew.
I deflowered the 16-year-old... he was a RotS virgin before coming to my house! I didn't even realize until we started watching it. I thought he was clamoring to see it because he liked the movie. But during one of the screen changes on the dvd (before the movie starts) he exclaimed "Whoa that's tight!" like he'd never seen it before. So I asked him and he confirmed it. Poor kid! Both boys had fun looking at all my Star Wars stuff. And my iTunes. And my baseball stuff. No wonder they like my house :) They gave the cats a good workout too.
Yay President's Day. Yay for having to work this year instead of having it off like we have every other year. I found out my mom's working today too, so I should quit whining. But it's fun to bitch to other coworkers who are just as bitter about it as I am.
I miss my brother. He's right next door and I haven't seen him in forever. I put a Natalie Portman background on the computer just for him and he's not even been over to appreciate it! If I switch it back to Hayden Christensen he'll probably be over in a heartbeat just to change it. Heh.

Date: 2006-02-20 07:49 am (UTC)Although I'm slightly confused by your titanic icon. Although I know you love it. Which is odd, because you usually have pretty good taste :-p

Date: 2006-02-20 08:07 am (UTC)You think I have good taste? I knew it! This means that you secretly find Hayden as hot as I do. Yay! And it must mean you secretly like HumpBack Mountain too!

Date: 2006-02-20 08:22 am (UTC)You're right, you have sucky taste, and you obviously know you do as you pointed out some of your bad taste joys.
Star Wars = good taste. Nat icons = good taste.

Date: 2006-02-20 10:08 am (UTC)Oh, by the way, if you get any strange emails from my work account, it's because my system automatically saved your name as "Megan" with no last name, and we do indeed have a Megan here WITH a last name whom I email frequently, but I'm used to just typing "Meg" and having it pop her name in, so now I have to type "Megan N" to get it to NOT go to you. I could go delete you, but that would be no fun. Anyway, just warnin' ya. /babble

Date: 2006-02-20 07:37 am (UTC)I have English coursework due in TOMMOROW.
I've not started English coursework.
I reckon I can get away without doing it until Friday.
You can see where this is going, can't you? :(
