ETA: Okay, I'm a little more calm now, as I managed to re-set stuff and at least get online. But AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH there's so many things messed up! And I supposedly have stuff backed up on my external hard drive but guess what - I can't access anything. What the hell good is THAT?

My email is not working so if I'm slow to respond to comments please bear with me. I'll get stuff figured out... eventually.

*stabs computer*

Oh no! That's horrible news :(. I hope you manage to fix your computer *shakes fist at it in very threatening way* I don't know what I threaten your computer with, but it's bad. Maybe a strange Ozzie computer virus? But then that would make it all worse, but don't worry computer I'll think of something. Hmmm I guess I'm not being very kind to your computer I suppose it's sick and didn't do this on purpose? So *pets it soothingly* ok now I'm probably scaring you by anthropromorpahsising(sp?) your comp. Best of luck!

Thank you - I lost a lot of stuff but the important things are working, at least. Maybe your threatening did the trick!

Ooh, that's bad, I hate it when computers go wrong. I end up having to fix them. Pain.

Just a hint - stabbing the computer tends not to help. Stroking it and being nice doesn't help much either.

I do try! I'm usually much more helpful if I can get to yours, but I think by the time I got there you'd have a new computer anyway!!

Did you ever find all your stuff? I can't figure out how you could lose stuff by changing the resolution on your monitor.

Nope, I remember that. GOD that pissed me off. Maybe if I'd had more patience fooling with it I could have saved everything but me + computers = no patience! Still have that same monitor, and it's so small that my brother has to use my laptop for his fantasy drafts or he can't chat, because the screen's not wide enough.

And now my TV is going obsolete too! NBC seems to be broadcasting their stuff widescreen -- but instead of it appearing on my TV as widescreen (you know, with the black bars on top and bottom?), it fills up the whole screen, it just cuts stuff off. Annoying!!!

Stuff is just stuff...you shouldn't let it annoy it!

*snicker* There are no cats involved here! I'm allowed to be annoyed!

I'd be more annoyed at an obsolete TV.

Something just went crash upstairs...sigh...I better go investigate!

Ok, can't blame Sunny for that loud crash...that was actully thunder, which is still going on. HOWEVER, the HAIl that was coming down with the first part of the storm seems to have passed.
