I'm back!

Did a whole lot of nothing this weekend and it was wonderful. Even so, I got stuff done - caught up on some magazine reading I was months behind on, I wrote a couple things, I drew something that's not half bad. The weather was beautiful. It's hot as hell here at home now. Ick.

I came back in time to hang out with Mom for Mommy's day. We ate Olive Garden and watched Broken Flowers - which I enjoyed but... well, I won't ruin it for you guys and I'm too lazy to do a cut. It was... yeah.

Something's gone awry with my cable/VCR setup. The more I mess with it, the worse it seems to get. I used to be able to record and just not timer anything; now I can't record at all. I am a slave to network programming, just like the olden days. So if I want to see my soap, I have to stay up for the 11pm broadcast on Soapnet. It used to be on at 8pm, why did they move it? *whiiiiiiiine* I do stay up 'til midnight at times during the week, usually when I'm omg_lightsabering, but I can't do it every day without suffering for it. At least my busy at-home week and my busy at-work week no longer line up so that everything hits me at once.

Anyhoo, A. is coming back this weekend for two shows, which means he'll probably get here some time on Thursday, and he'll know how to fix my stupid technology problems. Hopefully. He feels guilty because it's semi-his fault, so he'll be extra motivated to fix it.

Oh, and email at work is down - I think this gives me license to slack all day. *nods* If I'm in a thread with you, POST!!!!

Oh, if Obi doesn't want to invite D! to his party, it's cool - I don't think he'd want to go anyway. When is it gonna be? *is hopelessly behind on reading threads*

I would think he'd want to go just to have mad sex with Ani to spite Obi, heh. It should be the first weekend in June - the previous weekend is closer, since his "birthday" is Memorial Day, but someone has exams/packing that weekend. *siiigh*

Anyway, D! can certainly come. I don't think he'd have to interact with Obi, and I wouldn't want to make him feel left out or anything.

Well, since I have two other characters I can play now, I don't mind D! feeling left out. *is mean* He might put in an appearance if invited but he doesn't deal well with seeing Ani/Obi together, and he would assume Ani would be more interested in being with Obi than him for Obi's birthday.

I might be out of town then anyway... we'll see. But thanks for being nicer to D! than I am :)

I do. The set-up in the manual didn't look like mine - not enough cables. I haven't had to mess with it at all since the cable guy set everything up three years ago. It's quite distressing. I might just have to unplug everything and start fresh, thinking it out logically instead of blindly plugging stuff into various places and hoping for a miracle.

I HATE when stuff doesn't work right. I still have to fix my camera software too. *sigh*

I can still take about 300 more pictures before I run out of room on my camera's card so it doesn't strike me as urgent, though. I guess I do get a bit lazy at times. I've had it on my weekend to-do list several times, but I tend to ignore it in favor of doing less productive things... like rp.

No, not yet. Although she might start getting delusions of being a tank if she spends much more time running through North Kryta missions. I just did the Nolani mission with a sword-wielding E/W. She was good, but I was just kind of "...WTF? Okay, you are SO dead once you get into the Shiverpeaks."

Also, I'm going to stab the next Necro I see with "Death" in their name.

My boss isn't here yet so I can keep slacking. Yeah, that's it. *snicker* There are days I don't even talk to her at all, though. It's not like she hovers over me or gives me oodles of inane things to do.
