Look, it's a multi-functional post, cuz I care about your f-lists!

First, thefridayfive:
1. What type of mood are you generally in on a rainy day? I live on Tatooine in a desert so I always get excited when it rains.

2. What are your favorite things to do when the weather is gloomy? Gloomy? Gloomy to me is the sun blazing overhead, sapping the will to live from anyone who dares be out in it. And I generally stay inside as much as possible then. RAINY weather is not at all gloomy!

3. Have you ever been kissed in the rain? No. I guess it doesn't rain here often enough for that.

4. After the rain stops, do you continue what you were doing, or do you run outside to do something else? Chances are the rain only lasted 5 minutes. I squee a bit and carry on like normal.

5. What is your favorite drink/food to have when it's raining outside? Soup is good. And hot chocolate. Unless we're talking about a summer storm. I don't have any different foods for that.

And, since it's May 19 - I will do as some of my f-listers have done and reminisce about a year ago. Except I actually *gasp* didn't see RotS until Sunday! Check out my post: Awww, I didn't even know how to do a LJ cut back then. Also, Episode III is what prompted me to start joining LJ communities, so until then I really didn't have many LJ friends. I actually used my journal to communicate with family and friends. Seems odd now. I was such a n00b. (okay, so I still like to use it for that, but I don't pimp it to them so much now - and a lot of people don't bother to read anymore, I'm sure)

Also - elledwen: When do you want me to post the party? I really can't be in full slacker mode at work today, since I was gone yesterday and it's heading into my busy days for this payroll cycle. BUT, whenever you or Megan are not around for a few days, I feel an obligation to the other one to try to RP more. That's probably dumb, cuz it's not like I can replace anyone or that I'm even trying to :) And I can't be on at all tomorrow :( So I will slack some at work, just not like, non-stop threading.

Nah, it's the date RotS came out, that's all. The end of the long wait for the Star Wars saga to be complete. So it's just my ubergeeky SW friends who are reminiscing :)

Oh and... I found this

This one was by far the best of Episodes I - III. My brother says it's the best of all 6, but I don't know if I'd go that far (He's biased because the old ones don't have Natalie Portman in them).

Heeee! Yeah, most of the people on my f-list weren't on it back then so I doubt anyone's even seen that entry. I re-read it myself and I was like HUH? No raving about how hot Anakin is? I remember not being able to sleep after seeing it - AWESOME.

Ah, the fun was just beginning... I ended up seeing it 13 times in the theatre, I think. God, I don't even remember for sure. I'd have to look back to October cuz that's the last time I saw it on the big screen and I think I was counting as I went along.

We have summer and hot and sun for like ... a month. total. out of the year ;)

I couldn't handle living in the hot and dust. I'd melt!
I'd love to visit sometime and see the touristy stuff :)

Again, I pretty sure I'll be around all evening, especially after 4 PM your time....since that's midnight and everything is closed by then. Well, Unless I decide to go WoWing. But I can always check things.

I was writing this big old reply here and then had technical difficulties and couldn't post it. What the heck was I saying... oh well, just babbling, prolly. Three more hours 'til the weekend!!!

I meant to have Ani say in a post in the current thread that he doesn't mind if there's alcohol now. Which will work in my favor since Qui needs to get drunk and do stupid stuff. Cause...I think it would be fun.

Hey Wendy. =) I was wondering something since you were the first person I knew on my flist who was as crazy about Star Wars as I was. Haha. Do you happen to know other people who were avid Star Wars fans? Because we I was thinking we could start a blogcrew of Star Wars. (I was thinking of being unique and just having it Jedi/Sith based, but I think some people may definitely want Padme or Chewbacca or whoever so I'm open to ALL characters really)

I'm in 3 of crews already. 2 of them HP, and 1 Disney. And Star Wars was after all my number 1 fandom, do you think you'd be interested in cofounding it with me? If not, it's all good. Once I get it started, I'll let you know.

Oooo, sounds fun - I'm not sure exactly what a "blogcrew" is... would this be a livejournal thing? Tell me more! I'd probably be interested in helping run it :) There are quite a few Star Wars geeks on my f-list too that I could pimp it out to as well. Yay geekery!

Ah. A blog crew is basically where you claim a character, and you become part of a ring. You get a sistag u can put in your userinfo, and it links back to the original site where the "claims list of characters are." With the blogring, it's easier to find people with same interests and maybe you could even make new friends. (As star wars definitely was the thing that you and I connected with when we first conversed) And you have a pretty sistag of...I dunno. Anakin? LoL.

If you want to, look at my userinfo now. You'll see pictures of Cedric and Oliver. They're both different blogrings. =)

Nope. You don't realy do anything else with who you've claimed. It's not an RPG thing. All you have to do is proud of it and post/showoff who you've claimed in your userinfo. =)

I saw RoTS the saturday that it opened, but not on opening night. We had a good time going, even if I wanted to smack some noisy kids in front of us before it started. They settled down for the movie though, thankfully.

I took Mike to see one of them. He was still little. We were 3/4 of the way through the movie and he decided it was time to go home...NOW. He would NOT sit stil. We had to leave.
