Kitty update: I'm taking him back Friday for an endoscopy. He has to be put under for it, which adds to the expense but I think I'm glad - poor kitty! I don't want him awake to have stuff rammed down his throat. I'm actually *gasp!* taking the day off instead of coming in late and leaving early. My boss is pretty cool about time off. I don't know when I'll actually find out the results of this because they have to send the biopsies to a lab.

$836 is the estimate. Ay yi yi. Thank God for credit cards. 'Tis almost the season to start racking up credit card debt again anyway, right? I'll just get a head start.

Me update: Still sick. *cough hack wheeze*

Kid update: J is now only at my house on Mondays and Wednesdays, usually. I pick him up after soccer practice on those days. He's no trouble at all. Sometimes he has a can of something in his backpack to make for dinner and sometimes he eats microwave stuff from my freezer. I should cook for him some time - except, I can't cook. Hmmm, that might make it difficult. Since getting sick I of course haven't done anything but lay around like a bump on a log. At work and at home.

Aaron update: He's moving down here for the rest of the year tonight - woo! We're supposed to go to 1 or 2 baseball games this weekend (his team vs. my team; his team is most likely going to the playoffs and mine's definitely not), possibly tomorrow night too (4-game series), but if I still feel all bump-on-a-log-y I ain't going to that one. He can go by himself. I'm mean.

His store opens October 1st and he has a lot to do before then. I want to help out, but not when my head feels like it might fall off. It's not a headache, it's just like... head-heaviness. Makes me feel tired and lazy.

oh THAT'S the typing kitty icon you were talking about!

I'm taking nothing. I'm weird about taking things - if I was having trouble sleeping I would take some of my nighttime stuff that I have... but sleep has been good. I'm eating lots of soup and drinking lots of gingerale and moving very slowly.

It's not that bad. It's just annoying.
I hope you don't catch it!

Oh! Way to ignore the question -
It's a sports card/memorabilia store. His partner puts on shows here throughout the year and they do a holiday store almost every year, they couldn't do it last year and Aaron was miserable.

Mall hours, though. Ick. And he LOVES it. Right now it's 10am - 9pm every day except Sunday, which is 11am-6pm, but as Christmas gets closer they extend the hours. He won't have a day off 'til Thanksgiving!

Room temperature is fine... I wonder if it would be even better if it were HOT though.

If I'm not sick, I want it ice-cold. It's just a sick thing.

Ugh - I just started ranting about something unrelated here and totally erased the whole thing. Consider yourself lucky ^_^

Hehehe - my friend just called and asked to borrow money while I was typing the comment. I'm calmer now.

I HATE WHEN PEOPLE BORROW MONEY. With few exceptions.

Why are you putting it off? That is a necessary evil, woman! Especially with all the driving you've been doing!

you know how it is like first come first serve, so you end up sitting for three hours in some dirty greasy chair in some hot waiting room watching like Judge Judy if you're lucky waiting waiting waiting. well i got one in Baltimore last so that is only one 3000 mile trip and then driving around town miles. plus it got too late today and i dont want to go now it will be rush hour almost. haha you picked the angry anakin icon!

This one's more angry. *pets him*

Ha! Judge Judy. I usually go at 7am on Saturday mornings and sit in a nice posh chair drinking coffee and eating a croissant - if I'm lucky the TV isn't even on but usually someone turns it on pretty early. I just try to tune it out while I'm reading or writing.

lol i have never heard of such a time as 7am? is that in the night? haha that sounds nicer than sitting there in the afternoon pacing around for hours trying to be interested in the tires hanging on the wall!

From: [identity profile] lumy12.livejournal.com
Yeah, I like getting stuff done early. Though I tend to stay up too late the night before and then don't properly enjoy the waiting around experience.

Yes if I'm well-rested I do enjoy it! I always go to the dealer so it's cushy in there. I'm kind of paranoid about oil change places messing up my car by not changing a filter or something.

ohhhhhhhhhhhh. yes Saturn is evil and we have gone our separate ways i would not step a toe in that dealership. oh well i will go tomorrow i am going to go scrub things and vacuum, i got a new vacuum last night and since my carpet is new, it just sucked up a whole bag of fuzzy woofie in one second!

lol you are lucky though you dont even know what i go through like they leave off the oil cap and stuff! one time i went to get a new tire cuz mine was flat and was going "BADUNK BAdunk" all around, the guy said the tire was fine, so the next day i drive like 60 miles to my work and i go back "i KNOW this tire is flat i went like 5mph!" and he goes and looks at it and goes "oh yeAAH! it was dat 'other' tire! sho' is flat!" like, he didn't even look at ALL the tires!

Oooooh I had that problem with my new carpet! It took FOREVER for the vacuum to work properly. Good luck :)

Dang I got ANOTHER annoying phone call while threading with you here. This lady wants me to write a letter saying she worked for us when she didn't actually work for us. ARGH! She was nice, just didn't really understand what I was saying.

Thank Force I go home in 20 minutes.

LOL! Ewwwwwww.
But really, now, what do you think the cavepeople did?

Actually I have no clue. They might have used disposable leaves or something. Heee!

Ha! See, there's a bright side to it.

According to Becca, cavepeople used rabbit furs. Ewwwww. Poor little rabbits. I know they're dead and all but still. *shudders*

I'm glad to be living in the 21st century.
