thefridayfive is something about music soothing the savage beast.
1) What was the first CD/Record/Album/Artist you ever bought and what format was it in? (Vinyl/Cassette/CD/MP3 Download)? I had records when I was little. I remember I had an ABBA record, the one with "Dancing Queen" on it - I still like that song. I honestly don't remember the first cassettes I bought. I got a Walkman for Christmas when I was... I think 10. And I got Cyndi Lauper, Michael Jackson, and probably Lionel Richie cassettes with it. Woo!
2) How do you usually listen to music? (iPod/Walkman/Stereo/Radio) I listen to the radio when I'm in the car - if my stupid CD player would play burned CDs I'd use the CD player more. All my CDs are old now. I listen to my iPod alot at work.
3) What is your favorite genre of music and why? Alternative. If it's still even called that anymore? Stuff like Coldplay and Radiohead. And my brother introduces me to indie bands which I end up liking usually too. As for why? Um... cuz it's good? Heh. I like depressing stuff. I have a dark soul.
4) What is your opinion on music video shows and music televion? Bleh. I haven't watched music videos in a decade or so. I do enjoy those VH1 "I love the 80s" etc. shows.
5) Do you usually agree with who the winners of the Grammy Awards are? I usually have no idea who wins. Or if I read it in the paper the next day, I forget it two days later.
