Dec. 15th, 2006 07:46 amYay for being off work today. The timing of it works out well now that Aaron's sister is here. I'm going to accompany her wherever she wants me to today... which unfortunately is to go see Borat, I believe. She's seen it oodles of times but wants to take me since I'm all "meh" about it.
The past couple days have been... I dunno. I don't really feel right writing about another family's grief in here, but... at the same time, some things they've told me are pretty amazing and share-worthy. We'll see.
This week's
thefridayfive is about crushes:
1) Who was your first crush? (Celebrity or average) Celebrity was either this guy from my soap (Peter Reckell - who I don't even find very attractive anymore, really) or George Michael. Yes, George Michael. And there was this kid at my school who looked like him that I kinda lusted after. I think I was 11 or 12. I remember desperately wishing I had a crush earlier because my friend was completely, painfully in love with Simon LeBon from Duran Duran... I wanted to be gaga like that. I've always been a late bloomer.
2) Who do you currently have a crush on now? No one in real life. I swear. People don't believe me but it's true. I'm SO done with all that. But celebrity-wise... mmmmmmm, Hayden Christensen.
3) Have you ever become so obsessed with a crush, you went to extreme measures to find out everything about him/her? Not really, my thing was always to memorize useless information about them. Like their license plate number. And when I was going to ASU and my crush was going to law school, I memorized the sign in front of the law building. Why did I do this???? Silly me. That was a long sign too. It took me a while to get the order of the list down.
4) Has your crush ever turned out to be your future girlfriend/boyfriend? Yes. But more often than not my little obsession would just die a natural death.
5) Did a best friend ever turn into more than just a friend? No, but vice versa, yes.
