I like it when thefridayfive is early. Especially when I'm looking at a workday with less slack time than I've had all week.

This one's about pets.

1. Do you have any pets? If so, how many, and what are their names? I have four cats: Pantera (Pants), Anakin, Snickerdoodle (Snickers), and Gryffin. They have their own journal (lumycats) but they don't write in theirs as often as I write in mine.

2. What was your very first pet? Do you remember its name? Um... we had cats when I was a baby until my dad's doctor convinced him he was allergic. Do those count? Felix, Oscar, and Princess.

3. Is there an animal you would never have as a pet? Never say never, my dear. But I'm not too fond of reptiles. Anything I have to feed live prey to is pretty much ruled out.

4. What common pet have you always wanted but never had? Why not? I grew up wanting cats, couldn't have them until I moved out though. So instead I set about trying to steal all the neighbors' cats and entice them into our yard. Ended up having quite a few cats over the years for a girl with no pets, really. Only one officially became ours.

5. What wild animal (extinct or not) would you own if you didn't have to worry about its adjustment or the cost of captivity? A snow leopard. Or maybe some kind of tiger. I adore the big cats, they're so beautiful.

You can feed reptiles frozen mice, just thaw 'em out :)
