Interests meme!
Oct. 4th, 2007 06:36 pmHow this game works: Just comment on this post saying you'd like to play. Then I will choose seven interests from your profile, and you will explain what they mean and why you are interested in them. Post these instructions along with your answers in your own LiveJournal so that others can play along, too.

Piano: I like to play. I just never do. I blame that on my piano sounding like crap. I blame THAT on the fact that it hasn't been tuned in like, 12 years or so. I never had lessons, though. I'd kind of like to take them, but don't want to spend the money on it.
Starbucks: Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Starbucks! Pumpkin spice frappuccinos! I like going to the one by my house and hanging out for a while writing/people-watching.
Stalkers: You would pick that one :P Stalkers intrigue me for some reason. Whenever a Lifetime movie about stalkers comes on, I must watch. Even if I've seen it ten billion times. E-stalkers intrigue me toonot that I ever stalk anyone, nooooo that would be creeeeeepy. I want to dive into their brains and see what's going on there. I guess there's something wrong with me?
Ultimate cheeseburgers: This is the best thing to get at Jack In The Box (which is mostly just in the western states). Two burgers + Swiss cheese + American cheese + sauce = yummmmmm. No extra crap. Purists, like my brother, argue that the sauce they put on them now makes them ultimate no longer. I like it both ways.
Avon: Make-up, fragrance, skin care, fashion, etc. I sell it part-time, but don't make much money because I'm constantly ordering stuff for myself. It's a pain sometimes (see previous post's rant), but it's a lot of fun, too.
Ill-tempered mutated sea bass: Hee! "Smiddy won't be coming tonight. His head was bitten off by a tank of ill-tempered mutated sea bass." Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery
I mostly have this in my interests cuz I keep waiting to see if someone else ever lists it. Nobody is interested in it but me! Woe! (the ITMSB are referred to in at least 2 of the movies, possibly all 3)
Spongebob Squarepants: He lives in a pineapple under the sea! I lurve him, he's adorable. Patrick Star, his clueless starfish friend (in icon), is even more adorable.
And from the lovely
darthsemicolon (less the one that Becca also inquired about):
Being immature: I think I'm extremely immature in some ways, not so much in others. Being a rabid fangirl has always struck me as immature. Surely when one reaches "a certain age" one gives up things like RP and fanfic and focuses on More Important Things. Actually, the longer I'm on livejournal, the more I realize this may not be the case. *waves to fellow "old" fangirls* Unless we're all immature? Heh. I think I'm emotionally immature in some ways as well. But I don't care to do anything about it - which also makes me immature.
Claim Jumper: My favorite restaurant! It has a Western decor... I don't know if it's just a western states thing or not. I know they have them in Nevada and California. Everything is GINORMOUS and tasty and I've never had a bad meal there ever.Nevermind that I never have bad meals anywhere.
Lifetime movies: They're cheesy, overly dramatic, predictable, formulaic things but I adore them. Especially if they involve stalkers or psycho chicks. Good background noise.
npmb: Aw, crap, I'm not allowed to explain this one! I should delete it. But I won't, cuz I'm a rebel like that. I'll just say it's my brother's fault, both that it's in my interests and that I can't explain. "First rule of Fight Club is... do not talk about Fight Club." *snicker* Except you never saw that movie, right? Mmm, Brad Pitt. *spaces out*
Obsessions: I'm prone to becoming obsessed with things. I think it runs in my family, actually. I think it's normal for kids and teenagers to be obsessive but I'm way beyond that now! At the moment, though, I'm really not obsessed with anything. Not hard core. I need to dive back into Star Wars obsession mode.
The Ani song: Dangit, I can't find the link anymore. It's a silly song/vid with a bunch of Anakins and it ends like "Ani Ani Darth." I fail at explaining this one. Alas, I see there are only 3 of us left interested in it! It was from one of the Anakin communities, in the post they said to add "the ani song" to your interests.
