My weekend is off to a good start!

And this week's thefridayfive is about senses.

1. Do you ever wonder if the way you see things visually aren't how other people see them? I suppose I've given it a passing thought. I wonder more about taste buds, though. How the same thing can taste so different to everyone. And how your own tastes can change over time.

2. What kind of sounds are the most annoying? The sound of a certain orange cat threatening to bring a shelf crashing down on my head...while I'm supposed to be sleeping, no less. Grrrrrr.

3. When walking through a store, do you shop with your hands by touching/feeling the texture of things? YES! Well, it does depend on the store. I don't do that in the grocery store. But a little gizmo shop or a clothing store, yes definitely.

4. If you could only smell three scents for the rest of your life, what would they be? My favorite lemon sugar scent (I have the shower gel, lotion, and fragrance mist), bakery smells, and... um... buttered popcorn. Yeah, all food scents, even though technically the first one isn't edible.

5. What sorts of things do you savor when eating them? "Savor" definitely puts me in mind of chocolate. A chocolate truffle. Mmmmmmmmmmm.

Stupid Gryffin. You know, if he ever knocked that shelf down, you would be killed instantly upon impact.

People that touch stuff when I have a store are ANNOYING. But I'm not selling clothes, which I can understand wanting to touch. I don't understand shopping with your hands at all, but I guess I understand how much effort there is in getting things back to the way they were before the annoying person touched it.

I like the smell of me when I get out of the shower. Sometimes girls smell good, too.

I forgot the other crap I was gonna say. It was golden, too.

It HAS come down before, a couple years ago... I'm pretty sure that was Anakin's doing, though. That was before I had the headboard so he would have had to jump from the corner. But my dad put it back up with stronger mollies so hopefully it will hold.

I thought guys liked it when girls were touchy/feely? Huh.

It is the female's job to smell good at all times.

I wonder a lot if people see things the same way I did. I've realized over the past couple of years that people, at least my family, sees shades of colors differently than I do. Nicole and I argue (playfully) over the color of a skirt I own. I see it as green; she thinks it's blue.

I like feeling the texture of things too. I've noticed especially when I'm at school, I'll want to just touch things. Sometimes I run my fingertips over the wall as I walk down the hall. It seems like something I've done for a long time now.

I seen Jumper on Friday. I really liked it! I thought the special effects were really good, and I liked the story/character development. Hayden looked beautiful, per usual. Now I know what special/mutant power I'd want, if it ever comes up, teleportation so I could travel as much I'd like!

Yeah, it's true people seem to perceive colors differently, though unless people are colorblind it seems to be more of a "how blue can this green get before it goes from blue-green to blue" difference of opinion.

YAY I'm glad you saw Jumper! I hope it does really well! I want to see it again and drool some more. The sex scene was WAY too short but... yeah, PG-13 movie! lol And that movie TOTALLY made me want to go country-hopping. Put my passport to good use! If only I were rich. *sigh*
