I finished tagging all the entries I wanted to tag on here. WHEW, was that a chore! I got so into it I sorta forgot to get dressed and act like a human today. Eww. Oh well, the day's almost over now, why bother. It's kinda depressing looking back at some of those old entries. Seems sooooooo long ago.

Hehe, [livejournal.com profile] moowithme113, there's a Danielle Panabaker movie on Lifetime. For some reason they're not calling her Terry, though :)

Saw [livejournal.com profile] wenchcat and [livejournal.com profile] sweet_panda at the RenFest yesterday. Fuuuunnnnn. Met [livejournal.com profile] sweet_panda's boyfriend, too - he's cute! It's his first time in Arizona (he lives in Seattle) so he was all hot...said this was summer weather. HA! I told him to come back in July. It didn't even hit 80 yesterday.

I did manage to get sunburned, though. And I'm sore from playing Whack It. (yes, I'm terribly out of shape - but alot of the motions required are jerky ones! Those are hard on us old fogeys, esp. those of us with gimpy wrists!)

And I had the first pasty and the first Scotch egg that I've had since I was with [livejournal.com profile] elledwen and [livejournal.com profile] bottled_void. Mmmmmmmmmmm. I heard some silly people mispronouncing "pasty" too - they rhymed it with "tasty" which is what I used to do before I was enlightened. (It's even mentioned in GoF, but I thought they mispronounced it there, since I know they butchered the pronunciation of Beauxbatons and... maybe some other stuff I've forgotten about)

Driving home from this land far far away pushed my car over 90,000 miles. Yowza. Ugh, time to schedule an expensive 90k-mile-service appointment.

No tag for this entry, that doesn't seem right... oh heck, the "harry potter" one works. Yeah, I don't get to use that one much anymore.

How would it be pronounced, then? I'm Canadian, so you can't blame me for not knowing! ;)

And yeah, Dumbledore did the whole Anglicized version of 'Beauxbatons' in GoF. If I recall correctly, he pronouced it 'Bo-Bat-Ens'. HEH, especially to a semi-Frenchie like me.

I'm sort of... alarmingly tipsy right now. So I'm sorry if this entry does not come off in any coherent fashion. But from what I can tell, it's 'aiiight'.

Ahaha, how cute! Tipsy!Michele! If you get more out of it you'll have to AIM me your drunken musings. I personally tend to "run around hugging" everyone on AIM when tipsy. SCARY. Heh.

It's a short a, like rhyming with "lastly." Only, there's no "l" in there. Hehe. But to me, it LOOKS like it should rhyme with "tasty," and I guess that's a common thing (unless you're British).

My car is pushing 107,000, so don't feel about about 90,000. I'll probably be at 120,000 by the beginning of August, which is weird to think about.

Oy! What year is yours? Mine's a '99. I used to put a lot more miles on it than I do now. In the past 6 months I've only put like 2000 on it.

I put that many miles on a car in a MONTH. (2k)

WHOA. You don't have to use your own car though, do you? You must have a hefty commute! I think the average person puts a max of 1000/month? Something like that.

Yeah, that's my personal vehicle. I put about 55 miles a day on the car on work days for commuting (not really THAT bad) and then there's my weekend commuting and double trips to work that make it average around 2k. Maybe slightly less.

So yeah, I kill cars. LOL

It's a 2000 Neon. I love that car to little pieces. I want to smack her sometimes, but I do love her. It's about 40 miles to anywhere good (aka the good restaurants because obviously food is anywhere good), and I go into Seattle every once and a while, so I put on the miles. But in July, I'm driving to San Diego and back, so that's about 3000 miles round trip, thus the me hitting 120,000 by August.

I am SO spoiled, living 3 miles from work and having a movie theatre a 5-minute walk away and such.

When I used to go to Vegas all the time I racked up the miles a lot faster. Road trips'll do that!

See, I live like five minutes from work, so I'm with you there. But it's about 20 miles to my bank and then 40 miles to the good sized city and so on and so forth. I like in the middle of frakkin' nowhere. It scares me sometimes.

Ewwwwww so far! So you're probably not all that close to Becca when she's home, either.

It's about sixty miles or so. It takes about an hour to get there.

I can see quite obviously you hate my car and want it to die. I think we did about 2K while you were over here. Course I don't mind so much, you paid gas (It's at $9.45 a gallon now btw - since I know you love that so much).

Awww! I luuurve your car! But yeah, the gas was the most expensive part of my trip, I think! Erm - after the plane ticket, I guess. There was an article in the paper today about our gas prices climbing to OMG $3.50 a gallon this spring. Hee! $9.45???? Yes, I'll pass that along to anyone who complains. Not that it will stop them from complaining... but I can't imagine ever complaining about gas prices again. You guys cured me. (not that I complained much in the first place, living so close to work!)

HAH! I saw that too! I was like "Oh I really should tape this in case I decide to make a vid."

But then I went to see Step Up 2 instead. Which had another PB in it. Oh man. It's been a day. *grins*

It's kinda freaky seeing your PBs in other stuff, isn't it? I don't know what else I've seen Danielle in. She has a familiar look to her... probably only other Lifetime movies, since those are what I tend to leave on all the time!

I am saddened that we were at the Ren Faire at the same time but didn't see each other. *cry*

Aww! Where were you hiding?! (ha ha, in the crowd of 20,000 people or whatever it was that day? It was crowded!)

I actually didn't find Becca 'til quite late in the day. After consuming much nummies and even taking a quick nap in the grass! (the kind of grass that doesn't make me itch, unlike the kind in my backyard. Grrr)

Every year, though, there's someone I know there who I go all day without seeing and only find out later they were there. So I guess you're my person this year.

OMG it totally is. It took me about 8 hours. But the time just flew. It was odd reading some of the old stuff. And it made me miss people who aren't around anymore :(
