(Sssshh, yes I'm at work, I'm getting off LJ soon, though, I swear!)

The second half of my week was definitely better than the first half.

I went looking for this entry in my journal from about 4 months ago. I remembered what I was feeling at the time, and it's similar in a way to what I'm feeling now, except the second part seems to have fallen more into place, thanks to something I never would have guessed back then.

"Sometimes there are things at work that we don't understand and aren't meant to understand. And sometimes we don't understand the things we should understand until after the change occurs."

I meant things at work "in the world" or cosmos or whatever - not at your place of employment. Heh. And then the "hindsight is 20/20" cliche.

Oh! And I can apply one of my favorite Lost quotes too! "The universe has a way of course-correcting itself."

YES.

And the universe sure is full of amazing people. Truly.

Mine says it's a Target exclusive, but I guess you can get them online elsewhere... one of the pics came from Amazon. Anyway - I have this thing where I have to "rescue" an Anakin every time I go to Target. Sometimes they don't have any, and that makes me sad (yes, even though I have oodles of Anakins). I'll look through every single row, piles of Neimoidians and other such unwanted figures... but usually there aren't any hiding. There are either tons of Anakins or no Anakins.

I'm not usually up this early, but today is Wendy Day. I'M SO IMPORTANT I HAVE A DAY NAMED AFTER ME! BWAHAHA! (heh, it's just a... thing, at work. People who don't even know me know what the Wendy Day is) And tomorrow I'll be up an hour earlier, though might not be online.

Oh and about friendships being temporary... a lot of time they are, painfully so. But it takes a lot more than that to shoo me away.

I'm home now, but I brought work home with me. Ewwwwwww. Ah well, I'll go in early tomorrow and finish and then get to leave early and take a NAP!

So if that happens again, should I just talk to him? I wouldn't have been around much longer anyway. And tonight I'll be turning in early, unless I can't figure out what's wrong with the stuff I brought home. Heh.

I'm glad you got some decent rest. I know you don't "need" as much sleep as others do but it's GOT to count for something as far as your mental and physical wellbeing go. It can't NOT. You're human!

That is a tempting offer. You know I like feeling wanted and welcomed (who doesn't?) - I'm just not sure I can do it! Time-wise, I know I could, but talent-wise, I'm SURE I'm not as good as you think I am. I'm interested in it, sure, which is why I'm half-ass watching it... so I haven't ruled it out. I'm just more used to crack, where things don't have to be perfect or canonical or make any sense whatsoever.

I have been following a fic written by your Palpatine player -- she's very good. New to RP, but AWESOME at crafting stories, which I'm sure will translate well into your setting.

I quite like texting you on LJ. I'm trying not to go overboard and do it all the time!
