Last night I realized that maybe... possibly... it's wrong of me to call Kumal and Sangha "not my cats." They should be upgraded to "sorta my cats."

I'm seriously considering making them hate me by taking them to the vet for shots and balls-choppin'.

I know you're right. At this point I don't think they'd be so traumatized that they run away...maybe... but even if they do, I want them to have those shots!

Last night while I was watering my plants, Kumal was next door yowling, and I was thinking, "SHUT UP before some mean person shoots you or poisons you!" ...and I thought, I can help him shut up. (hopefully!)

I've only taken one other stray to be fixed, and he was inside a lot more than these guys are. I brought him home and kept him inside that night... in the morning he was gone -- he had managed to break through the screen on my window and jump out -- and this was when I lived in a 2-story apartment! He must have kinda scaled the wall down, it was too high for a jump (I know what they say about cats always landing on their feet, but that's from higher places where they have time to turn themselves over -- and they still get injured!) I worried about him but he DID come back the next day. Seemed fine. WHEW. It's summer now so I won't have any windows open, at least!

Who says I don't love them enough to accept them??? I accept that they're neighborhood kitties who need some TLC once in a while but not as often as the house kitties. :P

Someone doesn't have to belong to you for you to love them. For example, I love Hayden Christensen, but I've never met the man... I just kidnap him in fic!

3 months, huh? I can't imagine them wanting to stay inside all the time, in which case they'd be my cats for sure... although, a year ago I didn't even think they'd ever let me pet them or pick them up. So.
