That opening = WHOA. I don't think I've ever seen so much blood at one time on this show before, and that's saying a lot! Really cool watching Bill kill Mr. Bad Vamp. Really GROSS seeing poor Sookie get covered in blood'n'guts. Heh.

I'm gonna jump right ahead to the dog thing -- I had a feeling about that dog from the very first episode. And then at one point, I thought "Oh Sam's the dog" and then I SWEAR I saw Sam interacting WITH the dog. ??? Is there another dog? Like, does Sam HAVE a dog, maybe? Because now I'm obviously doubting what I saw. They must have been trying to throw us off the scent!

By the streaking episode I figured he was a werewolf. Still not sure what the deal is with him being a dog... does that mean he's actually a vampire who can change form? He can't be, haven't we seen him around during the day? And eating and stuff?

I joined some True Blood comms but I'm afraid of them for the spoiler potential. People have read the books and already know what's gonna happen. Can't go comment in there! But I can keep my eye out for shiny icons and things :)

Okay, backtracking... that Amy bitch needs to DIAF already. I was happy to see sweet dumb Jason bonding with the vampire (Eddie? Is that his name?) and bringing him TruBlood by the end. Awwwwww. He's a good guy at heart, just too dumb for his own good.

I'm curious about something. Pam made that remark about "if I had feelings..." - why do some of them have feelings and some don't? Is that just a figure of speech type thing... the way we refer to serial killers as not having feelings or whatever... hmmm. There are semi-sweet vampires like Bill and Doughboy and mean ones like Eric and Pam.

Eric is HOT, though. XD

Oh, nice little femslash moment in the beginning with Pam and Sookie, too. (ewww vamp guts)

Tara's mama cracked me up with her little spiel about Sam bringing flowers, and how white men do that to get more sex but black men don't grovel. Ha! She's funny.

I wonder what the deal is with Tara. She can't have a demon inside of her, she just has issues! So it looks like she's getting ripped off but maybe that's one of those placebo effect deals... like her mom totally believed it was a demon making her drink, making her nasty, so now she's cured. ???

Oh, and I have to say... OMFG WHY DID THEY HAVE TO KILL THE CAT????

Yeah you can research all you want but there are certain things you just KNOW better if you're a part of the fandom. Which... really, I don't participate much in anything besides Star Wars, but I'm on the fringes of a few. It's hard with current stuff when you're trying to avoid spoilers! Some people are so spoiler-happy!

I guess cuz she just doesn't seem as skanky to her as Jason's usual girlfriends? She seems nice enough on the surface. Sookie's usually better at getting beneath the surface, though!
