Happy Black Friday

Yay day of slacky goodness. I bitch about the fact that the office isn't closed the day after Thanksgiving, but I don't really mind working it. It's generally accepted as a slack day. Over half the office takes a vacation day for today so it's really dead. Phones are dead because people assume we're closed. And SOME years we get out early but it doesn't look like that will happen this year.

Anyway. So, I had wondered what would happen if I started reading Hellsing before bed. Last night I dreamt about a group of gangster-type guys threatening to beat me up for NO good reason, but I wouldn't get close enough to them to give them the chance... I did let Sylar inside, and HE tried to kill me with that weird black eye thing, but then changed his mind and kissed me. HA!!!

Still undecided as to what to do about Heroes S3. On Demand only has the last 3 eppies, nbc.com only has the last 5. Download sites I've found have icky .rar files that I can't open. Is it better to just read summaries of the first episodes and then watch what I can, or wait and watch everything when the dvd set is released?

Last chance to gimme your info so I can send you a holiday card! I hope to do them all over the weekend/Monday and mail them next week. Go TO THIS POST HERE where comments are screened.

I hate watching out of order, but I also hate waiting forever and a day. Hehehe. I already have some things spoiled for me :( but hopefully not EVERYthing.

That part was pretty cool -- except why couldn't the kiss itself have been HOT instead of awkward. Stupid subconscious!

Surely the wait won't be *too* long? It's a pretty popular show =). Maybe try to get a friend to burn you some CDs of the eps you can't download?

Lol, well that made it more real surely? Mind you i believe some pretty fantastic things are real in my dreams. For instance nearly all my romantic dreams are about men, and we're usually totally heteronrmative which isn't something i want at all, but in the dream there's nothing i want more and i wake up with that feeling of complete happiness/contentment.

That's too weird! I've had dreams about women before, but nothing specific or explicit. I have to tell Aaron about those when I have them so he can tell me I'm really a lesbian in denial :P

Lol i'd say it makes more sense that you're not - since you're not really sexually attracted to women, then you can have a nice romantic dream without those aspects? Perhaps? (p.s i'm sorry to break this to you, but he probably wants you to tell him so he can imagine the dreams in detail so he can then have the same dream later that night ;p).

Most times I feel like I'm not sexually attracted to anyone. Celebrities aside! (even THAT is not always the case but if I'm gonna feel any sort of attraction to someone these days, it's someone who's not real to me)

And I'm sure you're right about Aaron :) though he SAYS his dreams, if he remembers them, are always completely boring -- like buying bread in a grocery store. And nothing else happens. lol

Aww that sucks that you have to be at work today. I feel your pain, though- I've got a really easy day tomorrow that's the Saturday equivalent of today- people forget you're open today.

Steve didn't let part-time sups work today- I think that's the only reason why I'm not at work right now.

I had the strangest urge last night, when I was driving... I thought "ohhh I almost want to write SW pr0n!" But alas, no real ideas came to fruition. Maybe as the day progresses, since I'm sitting here at home doing absolutely nooooothing except contemplating Rock Band...

Yes, yay! Hehe... especially yay since I'm covering for Suzie that week and she is the evening/closing person, so I wouldn't get to leave until the building was closed up for the night- which the past few years has been ten/eleven PM. :|
