01. No, I don't have a Facebook.

03. I'm sorry you had a rough year - actually, a rough TWO years. 2010 will treat you better, I'm sure, starting next month ♥

04. I really don't know what to say to you sometimes. Why do you like me so much? We have basically nothing in common and it's been almost a decade now since we did. But you're upbeat and optimistic so I'll keep ya ♥

05. I'm sorry I've disappointed you, it pains me to think about it, but you're gonna have to get the fuck over it because I'm NOT going to make the radical life changes I'd need to make to remedy this. I just can't.

06. I miss you. I miss the Good Old Days, even though, as Billy Joel reminds us, they weren't always good.

07. Thank you for putting up with me, and for letting me know, in a nice way, when I've gone too far.

08. I admire you so much. I don't know how you stay sane, I really don't. I'd like to get to know you better, but that's creepy so never mind.

Nine things about myself:

01. I only have 3 cats. Don't let others tell you differently.

02. I used to be skinny and now I'm average, if not slightly chunky. I HATE THIS. But apparently not enough to stop eating :|

03. I'm socially and emotionally immature. I try to hide it but don't always succeed.

04. I love love LOVE Coldplay. I think maybe they might be my favorite band. I don't like to label, though. I'm going to master every song in my new Coldplay piano book ♥

05. I do label my all-time favorite song, though! "If You Could Read My Mind" by Gordon Lightfoot. That's untouchable.

06. I fail at being on AIM lately. Either I'm too afk, or I'm around but it's nighttime and my connection spazzes out too much ("repair" works once in a while, but usually I have to close the lid to initiate hibernation mode and THEN "repair" - IT'S FUCKING ANNOYING)

07. I love my bunco group! This year I'll have to host, which makes me a little nervous. Hopefully this month I'll find out which month is mine, and it will be far enough away that I can plan to my little heart's desire!

08. For someone so obsessive about to-do lists, I'm pretty damn lazy when it comes to carrying them out.

09. My favorite weekends are ones like this one: no plans, just a whole 2 days to myself to do exactly what I want/need to do.

02. Bring me cake. CAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE!

03. Write me Palpakin >.>

04. Feed a cat. Better yet, adopt a cat!

05. Respect my rules for Star Wars marathons, for they are sacred.

06. Understand that I HATE THE PHONE. Phone conversations are so forced and awkward and I never know how to end them without feeling rude so they usually go on far longer than I'd like. (there are a few exceptions to this, but only a few!)

07. Don't try to fix me up with someone. If I wanted a boyfriend, I'd go find one myself, okay?

08. Cook me dinner or take me to dinner. I'm not picky. I LOVE FOOD.

Six things I do before I go to sleep:

01. Brush teeth, (floss every other day).
02. Wash face and apply various night creams.
03. Move laptop to bed so hopefully LJ will produce some nighttime reading for me.
04. Check for outdoor kitties wanting in or out, and the food level of outside dishes, then set the alarm/lock up for the night.
05. Final bathroom trip, even if I don't have to go much.
06. Read, either online or offline.

Five places that I want to visit: (not in order)

01. the UK, though I doubt it will happen again in this lifetime :(
02. Danbury, Connecticut (hee!) + New York City
03. Las Vegas, like my pre-Aaron trips of old that had nothing to do with Aaron being there and were all about aimlessly wandering the strip
04. Italy and Ireland (yeah, I'm cheating)
05. Best Friends Animal Society in Utah

01. Have enough money/have things paid off enough so that I never REALLY have to worry about money again.

01. I fail at being a homeowner. I can pay my mortgage on time, but that's about it. I don't know how to do simple things that everyone else seems to magically know, because I'm missing a "common sense" gene or something. Paint a room? Steam-clean a carpet? Fix a leak?
