Tomorrow is National Watch-Star-Wars-All-Day Day!!!

"National" meaning nation-wide in Wendy's little world of one. Episodes I through VI in order. Minimal stopping between movies for stretching, perhaps beverage-fetching. Bladder-emptying, cat-petting, brother-waking. Stuff like that.

I am letting my alarm go off tomorrow, because how nice it will be to wake up to Star Wars music and NOT have to go to work. And I need to get started no later than 8am. If I don't get the first 2 movies watched by 1pm I will have an hour delay while my soap tapes, and I anticipate a few problems.... Please, Mr. VCR, please please don't mess up my old I and II tapes! I have all the others on dvd but getting there could take a while, depending on my VCR's temperament. Oddly enough, it plays stuff you just recently taped, no matter how old and worn the tape is that you use. But a MOVIE tape that HASN'T been used a zillion times, it will mess up to the point of being unwatchable. You can fix it by hitting rewind for a second. I do not want to watch both of these movies while hitting rewind every 30 seconds! I will not do that. I may have to run out and buy both dvds in desperation. Screw the box set, it's not even in the works yet?

Why did I throw away all the ads from last week? I don't remember who was advertising all 3 episodes. *sigh*

I will be happy tomorrow. Am trotting off to watch ER now. DAMNIT I forgot to watch The Apprentice, there was Star Wars stuff on it tonight and everything. What an idiot! Well hopefully someone over at starwars will upload the funny parts.

I love paid holidays. I love getting paid to watch Star Wars! And someone at one of our offices asked what I was doing on the day off, I told him, and he laughed. "I'm going GOLFING," he said. "That's MUCH more fun!" I think not. He's probably just jealous!

Hey I thought of you during Clones... weren't you wondering about Anakin's green lightsaber there? Did you ever realize why he has a green one at one point? When I saw it I wanted to jump on the computer and email you. Ha! What a dork I am. But you probably noticed when you watched it again...?

LOL!!! girl i was watching that last night and i kept wanting to talk to you to. yeah i kept having no idea what color Anakin's light saber was even supposed to be anymore. remember i was saying that i thought it was changing colors in two. i think it is because he drops his out of the speeder and Obi-Wan yells at him for losing it and so i think OW has like an extra one he keeps in his pants for when A loses his. boy i don't know how you can like 3 better than 2. i swear i just sat there crying my eyes out the whole time!!! even like when they are just standing on the platform and he is like "you're so beautiful" i am crying all over the place. and he is so hot i can barely even stand to look at him.

so my rule is that when i watch 3 i turn it off when Obi-Wan says "Don't try it, Anakin!" i did that last night and it worked out pretty well i don't need to see what happens next. i am just so happy to have the last one, thank you so much! and the other one that got lost!! now i am like a little mother hen gathering up my little collection and hugging it and chirping hahahaha now i have them all wooo!! i do really hate Obi-Wan though. like there was NO reason why he couldn't have yelled to Anakin "hey no, she didn't even no i was even here, i totally just stowed away!!" but instead he just stands there and lets him think she brought Obi-Wan to kill him. what a jerk. Anakin is so hot, the poor little evil thing. and sometimes he will turn his face or something in 3 and he looks just like Luke, i love that. i am going to make the brown outfit that Padme wears when she is getting choked, cuz i have my leather from my un-made Halloween costume and it looks easy. i am gonna watch the bonus features tonight. right now i am in cleaning and organizing mode!!

hahaha i see that you have an icon for that dress! did you notice Padme didnt' care when Anakin killed the Sand People younglings. that's kinda racist of her. if i would've been her i wouldn't have cared that he went to the Dark Side. i'd be like "oh okay, whatever hottie pants!"
i got a giant black velvet plus size skirt for like a dollar once at Kmart, now i am cutting it up and making a Hogwarts robe woo hoo!! who needs friends when you have Sci Fi, right?

And I think Padme did care - she did kinda look at him like "WTF...?" I remember the first time I saw Clones, I thought she was going to remember THIS later on and realize she has to hide her children from him cuz he's capable of anything... (not JUST for that, of course, he'd have to be all evil 'n' stuff too)

yeah but she was just like "to be angry is to be human" she wasn't like all freaked out about it. i like to imagine myself a little fake ending in which he jumps onto that beach, slaughters ObiWan, goes back and Padme is okay, she tells him she will still love him if he kills Sidious and they go to marriage counseling oh and a tennis bracelet wouldn't hurt either and then he is sorry and they all live happily ever after.

YES!!!!! I was noticing Luke's and Anakin's similarities yesterday. Not that I had never noticed before, but when you watch them all at once it just... pops more, I guess?

I cry sometimes in Clones too, though I didn't yesterday. I got teary-eyed when they were rolling around in the grass. I love that part (I know you do too). I like your system of when to stop Sith :) Except I enjoy getting all emotional and crying like a baby at the end and all. But for you, I guess it's better to stop, because you already hate Obi-Wan enough as it is :)

It will be so nice for you to make a dress without having someone whine in your ear "ARE YOU DONE YET? ARE YOU DONE YET? ARE YOU DONE YET?" Enjoy :)

I did that with two of my friends. 14 hours...It was INSANE! The end of Return of the Jedi is ten times as powerful, we all ran outside dancing and screaming, "The Empire is dead!! Long live the Rebellion!" The Movie volume was sooo loud, you could hear it down the street, people just looked at us dancing outside, it was awesome.
