Tomorrow is National Watch-Star-Wars-All-Day Day!!!

"National" meaning nation-wide in Wendy's little world of one. Episodes I through VI in order. Minimal stopping between movies for stretching, perhaps beverage-fetching. Bladder-emptying, cat-petting, brother-waking. Stuff like that.

I am letting my alarm go off tomorrow, because how nice it will be to wake up to Star Wars music and NOT have to go to work. And I need to get started no later than 8am. If I don't get the first 2 movies watched by 1pm I will have an hour delay while my soap tapes, and I anticipate a few problems.... Please, Mr. VCR, please please don't mess up my old I and II tapes! I have all the others on dvd but getting there could take a while, depending on my VCR's temperament. Oddly enough, it plays stuff you just recently taped, no matter how old and worn the tape is that you use. But a MOVIE tape that HASN'T been used a zillion times, it will mess up to the point of being unwatchable. You can fix it by hitting rewind for a second. I do not want to watch both of these movies while hitting rewind every 30 seconds! I will not do that. I may have to run out and buy both dvds in desperation. Screw the box set, it's not even in the works yet?

Why did I throw away all the ads from last week? I don't remember who was advertising all 3 episodes. *sigh*

I will be happy tomorrow. Am trotting off to watch ER now. DAMNIT I forgot to watch The Apprentice, there was Star Wars stuff on it tonight and everything. What an idiot! Well hopefully someone over at starwars will upload the funny parts.

I love paid holidays. I love getting paid to watch Star Wars! And someone at one of our offices asked what I was doing on the day off, I told him, and he laughed. "I'm going GOLFING," he said. "That's MUCH more fun!" I think not. He's probably just jealous!

hahaha i see that you have an icon for that dress! did you notice Padme didnt' care when Anakin killed the Sand People younglings. that's kinda racist of her. if i would've been her i wouldn't have cared that he went to the Dark Side. i'd be like "oh okay, whatever hottie pants!"
i got a giant black velvet plus size skirt for like a dollar once at Kmart, now i am cutting it up and making a Hogwarts robe woo hoo!! who needs friends when you have Sci Fi, right?

And I think Padme did care - she did kinda look at him like "WTF...?" I remember the first time I saw Clones, I thought she was going to remember THIS later on and realize she has to hide her children from him cuz he's capable of anything... (not JUST for that, of course, he'd have to be all evil 'n' stuff too)

yeah but she was just like "to be angry is to be human" she wasn't like all freaked out about it. i like to imagine myself a little fake ending in which he jumps onto that beach, slaughters ObiWan, goes back and Padme is okay, she tells him she will still love him if he kills Sidious and they go to marriage counseling oh and a tennis bracelet wouldn't hurt either and then he is sorry and they all live happily ever after.
